Making the decision to ask for help is an important step. It is essential that you feel comfortable and at ease with your therapist. That’s why I offer you a free half hour to meet me and tell me about your concerns. I will give you my honest feedback about how I think I can help you or not. You are under no obligation to schedule anything further with me and I will be happy to provide you with the names of other therapists, at your request, if either of us decide that I can not meet your needs.
I have the greatest respect for clients and acknowledge the significance of this important decision for their lives. I consider it a privilege to hear each person’s story and I hold them in the strictest confidence. I will never disclose any information about you without your permission, with the exception of legal requirements.

I offer counselling for individuals, couples and families. I am a registered social worker with a Masters degree in social work. I have been in practice for eight years. I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Advanced level training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and families.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a commonly practiced approach to therapy that helps clients to understand the connections between thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
